So... Which Ones Should You Order?
Choosing what to order can feel overwhelming. With so many fun, seasonal, giftable options, it’s hard to know where to start.
This guide makes it simple. We’ll help you pick the right mix for your customers, plan your first order, and feel confident doing it.
👤 Step 1: Who’s Your Customer?
Understanding your customer is the key to picking the right products. Here are common types of shoppers and what to consider for each:
-
Adults: Look for relaxing scents, gift-ready packaging, or premium items. Great picks include Classic Rounds (bath bomb bar), Shape bath bombs, Shower Steamers and seasonal products.
-
Parents: Often shopping for themselves and their kids. They love Paint Kits, Surprise Bombs, Minis, and Classic Rounds for value bundles.
-
Kids: Want bright colors, fun shapes, and surprises. Mini Packs, Shapes, paint your own kits and Surprises.
-
Browsers (Window Shoppers): Attracted to seasonal, eye-catching products. Think seasonal shapes, and anything new or limited edition.
-
Niche Shoppers/ Niche Store (Book Store, Florists, etc.): Tailor to your unique store vibe. Shapes are great for this! Imagine walking into your favorite book store to find a book shaped bath bomb to go with it.
📎 Tip: If your store serves multiple groups, mix and match your product range to reflect that.
📏 Step 2: What Space Do You Want to Dedicate?
The amount of display space you plan to use can help you determine what type (and how many) products to stock.
🧼 Display Style Ideas (and What to Stock)
-
Bath Bomb Bar
A medium to large display featuring 12+ classic round bath bombs arranged together on a wall or table.
💡 Perfect for mix-and-match bundle deals like “4 for $20.” -
Shape Collection
A smaller display featuring fun, eye-catching shapes, great for gift-focused customers.
💡 Recommend stocking at least 6 different shape bath bombs. -
Impulse at Checkout
A grab-and-go setup near the register or checkout line.
💡 Great for classics, smaller shapes, or shower steamers. -
Kid-Friendly Corner
A fun spot near toys or children’s items.
💡 Stock Paint Kits, Surprise Bombs, and Minis that kids can help pick. -
Small Shelf Add-On
If space is limited, add just a few curated options that fit your store’s vibe.
💡 Consider Shapes, Minis, or a Surprise Bomb to catch attention. -
Seasonal Wow Factor
A seasonal-themed display that adds a festive feel and tells customers “something new is here!”
💡 Use current seasonal shapes and scents to create a rotating display.
📦 Step 3: How Much Should You Order?
This depends on both your sales space and storage space. Some retailers:
-
Order 2 cases per style: 1 on the floor, 1 in the back to restock as needed. (recommended)
-
Order 1 case per style: and reorder frequently – Less inventory risk, but higher chance of selling out.
-
Small bundle deals / starter packs– big variety to test out what customer like. Small inventory of each style.
If you're just starting out:
-
We recommend starting with a Bundle Deal. It allows you to test out a bigger variety of products without committing to a full case of any one product.
This gives you a strong, eye-catching display and lets you see what sells best.
🔁 Step 4: Plan Your Reorder Schedule
Checking your inventory monthly is a simple way to keep your displays fresh and your customers happy.
How much stock should you keep on hand?
-
Enough for at least 1-2 month of sales
-
Reorder when your backroom stock moves to the floor or when a style starts running low.
Seasonal Launch Calendar:
-
We launch new seasonal products every other month (6 total per year)
-
Each launch is available for 4 months, but we stop producing them in month 4-so once we sell out, they’re gone.
📎 Pro Tip: Reorder every 2 months to stay aligned with our launch cycle. Sign up for our email list to get the new seasonal catalog a full week early. That way, you can place your reorder and restock with new items at the same time keeping your display fresh and efficient. Plus, most customers who reorder on schedule qualify for free shipping on orders over $250.
